Dr Juan Diego Quintero MD, General & Bariatric Surgeon​

As a specialist in general and bariatric surgery with over 7 years of experience in minimally invasive metabolic procedures, he brings a clinically rigorous perspective to surgical management of obesity and metabolic disorders. Trained in Venezuela and Mexico, he earned his medical degree from the University of Carabobo and completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Zulia, followed by fellowships in bariatric surgery and digestive endoscopy.He is an active member of the Venezuelan Society of Surgery and IFSO (International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders) since 2018. His academic contributions include research on cost-effective bariatric techniques, presented at the IFSO World Congress in Madrid (2019), and ongoing involvement in surgical education through anatomy and technique training.His clinical expertise and research background make him a compelling voice in current discussions on metabolic intervention and its evolving role in multidisciplinary care.
